Cover:
I think you are a bit too dress up (or is it dress down
in this case) to be watching TV that way.
Plot:
Michael decides to confront Kara Kelly, good girl
Evangelical, about her rather slutty bad girl past and how it relates to his
father. Meanwhile, Joseph Ginsberg
continues his campaign to keep the studio afloat and video shader, Eugene Ford,
tries to get laid.
Our Main Character:
An entire issue without him drinking. Let’s mark that down as an occasion to
remember.
Our Side Characters:
What a wonderful and lovely cast of individuals, said no
one ever.
Writing:
Hmm, a following story about a guy trying to get laid or
trying to figure out a murder mystery…. Clearly, the story about the guy
getting laid as far more interesting.
Dialogue:
Look lady, insulting a guy is not going to get him in the
mood.
Art:
Yes, your camera effect is interesting, but it can’t be
more interesting than a pretty girl you idiot.
Most Memorable Moment:
Oh come on bouncer, punch him again!
Final Page:
Well, he certainly isn’t keeping them in his ratty
apartment, that’s for sure.
What We Should Take from This Comic:
Sometimes, it’s never too late to change oneself for the
better. Too bad, the rest of crew and
cast don’t realize that as they are slowly falling apart as the murder case
remains open.
What We Do Take From This Comic:
As “fascinating” as this guy’s love life is, I’m really
here for the murder mystery than anything else.
Yay or Nay?
Meh
