Cover:
Man, the snipers are still lousy shots in this world!
Plot:
The freelance journalists are so close to the truth now
that their very lives may be in danger.
Also, more family shenanigans take place.
Writing:
I think the writer is trying to say something about modern
entertainment from how much he’s trying to beat it into us in one scene.
Our Heroes:
Still doin’ a lot of nothin’.
Our Villain:
Even robots with TV’s for heads still get awful
reception.
Our Side Characters:
oh no… he’ll die if they don’t get there soon enough…
this is so sad and tragic…
Action:
It took the issue off to go do something else.
Dialogue:
It’s trying to be so relevant and “real” that it sounds
strangely silly coming out of these odd looking people.
Art:
I think it’s trying to invoke old 20s or 30s cartoon
style.
Most Memorable Moment:
Gwen: The only person so far who’s not an idiot when they
see someone who should not be there.
Final Page:
I’m predicting an old fashion standoff next issue.
What We Should Take from This Comic:
Modern media sucks and has no substance, while using the
gay card to feel oppressed to get out of talking about sensitive information
works.
What We Do Take From This Comic:
Basically what I said above.
Yay or Nay?
meh
